Company aims to scale RO and UF production at Sayakha unit.<\/em><\/p>\n

Vipul Organics, India\u2019s specialty chemicals player in pigments and dyes, today announced that its unit, AdiMem Technologies has commenced commercial sales of membranes, achieving a pivotal milestone just months after showcasing at IFAT India 2025.<\/p>\n

Transitioning from pilot to full-scale, the company will launch Reverse Osmosis (RO) and Ultrafiltration (UF) membrane manufacturing at its Sayakha, Gujarat facility, leveraging proprietary Reverse Phase Transition technology for indigenously produced, high-performance membranes. AdiMem Technologies is India\u2019s first fully indigenous manufacturer of membranes.<\/p>\n

AdiMem now supplies membranes alongside end-to-end Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP), Sewage Treatment Plants (STP), and pre-treatment systems, for chemicals, pharma, and other sectors. The Sayakha unit of AdiMem will integrate manufacturing, rolling, quality control, and a performance testing infrastructure, enabling comprehensive water and wastewater solutions and consistent product performance at scale.<\/p>\n

IMARC Group’s report on India’s membrane separation technology market says that India\u2019s membrane separation technology market is expanding at an 11.52 per cent CAGR, growing from USD 1.34 billion in 2026 to USD 2.7 billion by 2033. This is primarily driven by Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) mandates, the Namami Gange programme, and industrial water recycling needs – with chemicals emerging as a key end-use segment. RO demand is projected to reach 28 million units by FY2030 (~10 per cent CAGR), while UF and NF membranes are gaining traction in pharmaceutical effluent treatment, according to a ChemAnalyst report.<\/p>\n

Membrane revenues are expected to impact the revenues and the margins of Vipul Organics Limited. Vipul organics is targeting 25 per cent of its topline coming from sales of Membranes and Membrane based solutions in the next three years. The company is also targeting a sizeable part of the USD 6.33 billion India filtration market projected for 2033.<\/p>\n

AdiMem\u2019s comprehensive lineup, spanning MF\/UF\/NF\/RO, tubular and hollow fibre configurations, and MBR systems is the first fully Indian-made offering in this category. It delivers superior filtration, resilience, and sustainability.<\/p>\n

Vipul Organics, which champions sustainability with 98 per cent effluent recycling, ZDHC Level 3 certification, and ISO 14001 compliance, is now extending its commitment to membranes that it produces commercially. These membranes will enable 90 per cent water recovery in different applications.<\/p>\n

Shah, Managing Director, Vipul Organics Limited. \u201cFrom pigments (10,000 TPA expansion) to membranes, this strategic move reduces import reliance on China-dominant supply chains and opens access to the global USD 350 billion market.\u201d The company is bullish on its expansion into Membrane solutions with proprietary technology and Dr. Vatsal Shah, a technocrat leading the initiative.<\/p>\n

Backed by a Rights Issue fuelling the Sayakha ramp-up, Vipul Organics projects significant growth in FY2027 amid 12\u201315 per cent annual chemical membrane demand growth. Analysts highlight significant margin tailwinds versus peers in the specialty chemicals space.<\/p>\n
