Vietnamese National Assembly removes fuel taxes till June end

Vietnam recently approved a resolution cutting multiple fuel-related taxes to zero from April 16 to June 30.
The aim is to stabilise energy prices amid global volatility.
The government can adjust the measure’s duration or revise tax provisions in urgent cases, depending on global market developments.
During the validity period, the resolution will take precedence over other conflicting tax regulations.
