Hong Kong apparel imports stabilise after sharp dip last year

Hong Kong’s apparel imports showed early stabilisation in January–February 2026, rising 0.7 per cent YoY to $946.49 million after a steep 2025 decline.
Casualwear led gains, with T-shirts and jerseys increasing share, while structured wear softened.
Despite this uptick, imports remain well below 2024 levels, reflecting cautious sourcing and weak global demand.
