Vietnam’s FDI inflows up 42.9% YoY in Q1 2026: NSO

Vietnam’s total registered FDI reached $15.2 billion in Q1 2026—up by 42.9 per cent YoY.
Of that, 904 newly-licensed projects registered $10.23 billion—a 6.4-per cent rise in the project number and a 2.4-fold rise in capital YoY.
The manufacturing and processing sector continued to attract the lion’s share of new FDI, attracting $7.07 billion, equivalent to 69 per cent of the newly registered capital.
