US T&A imports drop 13.9% to $15.5 bn in Jan-Feb 2026

US textile and apparel imports declined 13.95 per cent YoY to $15.57 billion in Jan–Feb 2026, reflecting weaker demand and cautious buying.
Vietnam retained its lead while China’s share dropped sharply.
Both apparel and non-apparel segments fell, as sourcing shifted towards Southeast Asia, with man-made fibres dominating imports.
Trade realignment remains evident.
