Normalisation of commodity supplies to take time: IMF, World Bank, IEA
While the situation triggered by the Iran war stays uncertain and shipping through the Strait of Hormuz is yet to normalise, even after regular shipping resumes, it will take time for global supplies of key commodities to normalise, the heads of the IEA, the IMF and the World Bank Group said.
Fuel and fertiliser prices may remain high for a prolonged period given the damage to infrastructure, they said.
