Bangladesh forms cabinet committee to adjust power prices amid crisis

Bangladesh recently formed a six-member cabinet committee to recommend the necessary power tariff adjustment at the wholesale and retail levels amid the Middle East crisis, global oil price volatility and surging power generation costs.
The committee will examine the necessity of revising electricity tariffs in light of global instability affecting the domestic energy sector.
