India’s PC, polyester, viscose yarn output falls amid labour shortage

India’s man-made yarn market weakened amid labour shortages and global uncertainty, reducing demand across PC, polyester, and viscose yarn.
Prices declined in Ludhiana, Surat and Mumbai due to slow consumption, seasonal weakness and easing supply concerns.
Lower crude pressured the polyester value chain, while cotton prices rose on strong demand and ICE support.
